A paradise with endless possibilities
Gran Alacant is one of the best-located tourist spots in the Mediterranean, part of the municipality of Santa Pola. A coastal town with beaches, supermarkets, banks, shops, bars, cafés, an open-air market and nightlife. Everything you could wish for on the Alicante Costa Blanca. Seafood lovers, take note: Santa Pola is home to the largest fishing fleet in the Mediterranean.

The area’s transport options make it easy to travel throughout the country and abroad. Alicante-Elche airport is just 15 minutes away, with dozens of daily domestic and international flights. Alicante city also has a high-speed rail connection to Madrid and Barcelona, plus a bus station.

The leisure offering is also very varied, with two marinas, a casino, kilometres of idyllic beaches and more than 7 shopping centres within a 20 km radius. Gran Alacant also boasts an enviable gastronomic scene, with restaurants serving Mediterranean, Asian and Indian cuisine…
If golf is your passion, you can play on up to 10 different courses, such as El Plantío just 10 minutes away or Alenda Golf a 20-minute drive away.
An oasis of idyllic beaches
In Gran Alacant you can enjoy coastlines bathed by the sun and the Mediterranean sea, with beaches and coves less than 10 kilometres away: Playa del Carabasí, Playa de los Arenales del Sol, Playa Varadero, Gran Playa or Playa Lisa.
And for the more adventurous, a trip to the island of Tabarca is a sure hit. This divers’ paradise has a fascinating marine reserve, reachable by ferry from Alicante and Santa Pola.
